COVID-19 is a virus. It doesn’t discriminate and anyone can become seriously ill and in severe cases, lose their life.
There is no cure for COVID-19 but the best chance of slowing transmission and living a COVID normal life is through vaccination.
All Australians have access to free, safe and effective vaccines that will protect you, your loved ones and the wider community. Before you book in for your vaccine, check if you’re vaccine ready.
Based on advice from the peak immunisation body, the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisations (ATAGI), GPs, CVC and ACCHS administer three vaccines, Pfizer
and Moderna. These vaccines are safe and effective
